By looking at bookmarks saved by others, users can discover new sources of information that might be missed by search engines.

We do this by saving our bookmarks on the web as well as on our own machine.
Then they can be accessed from anywhere.

Social bookmarking: Pushing collaboration to the edge

What a sharp idea.
I know of several people that have given away a huge page of download bonuses if the the person receiving their mailout or reading their blog buys their book on Amazon.

How it works is that if they get a lot of people to buy their new book on Amazon their book can become Amazon’s best seller in the category they are in. That means in searches it  comes up first and fuels sales increases. To get their bonuses the purchaser of the book from Amazon  just sends proof of their purchase to the author and he/she sends the download link as thanks.

Jimmy Moore has a great post where he requests help in getting his blog listed high in the rankings at Technorati. He has a couple of simple steps to follow.
